BEIJING: China’s exports fell 6.2% in April from a year earlier in yuan terms, after a drop of 14.6% in March, data from the General Administration of Customs showed Friday.
Imports in April also fell 16.1% in yuan terms from a year earlier, compared with a 12.3% decrease in March.
The country’s trade surplus widened in April to 210.21 billion yuan from 18.16 billion yuan in March.
