KIEV: While Russia drastically cut its import of Ukraine’s agriculture goods, China has sharply raised its import of agriculture goods made in Ukraine, Dzerkalo tyzhnia writes Sept. 13.
In seven months of 2015, China imported $889 mn worth of agriculture goods from Ukraine or twice the 2014 amount.
Grain export has grown 4.7 times, chocolate 2 times, confectionery goods 1.2 times and alcohol almost 6 times. A positive development in Ukraine/China trade is that Kyiv exports not only raw materials but also products of its food industry.
