China, Macao trade increase 35.2% to $3.56bn in nine months

BEIJING: Trade between the Chinese mainland and Macao increased by 35.2 percent year on year to 3.56 billion U.S. dollars during the first nine months of 2015, the Ministry of Commerce said on Tuesday.

The mainland’s exports to Macao rose by 37.4 percent year on year to 3.42 billion U.S. dollars during the January-September period. Macao’s exports to the mainland totaled 140 million U.S. dollars, a decrease of 2.4 percent year on year, according to the ministry.
