China-Russia Trade Up 5.8% To $33.17Bln In January-April : Chinese Customs

BEIJING : Trade between China and Russia saw a 5.8 percent year-on-year increase to $33.17 billion in the first four months of 2019, the data of the Chinese General Administration of Customs showed on Wednesday.

In January-April, Chinese exports to Russia increased by 3.4 percent to $18.8 billion, while imports from Russia to China saw a 7.

China bought $5.19 billion worth of goods from Russia in April, while it exported $3.71 billion worth of goods to Russia.

The Russian-Chinese trade exceeded the $100 billion target in 2018 for the first time ever. According to the Russian Federal Customs Service, trade between Russia and China stood at $108.284 billion last year, showing a 24.5 percent increase year-on-year.
