China Shipping charters Diana bulk carrier for 10 to 14 months

ATHENS: Hong Kong-based China Shipping Bulk Carrier Co has timechartered one of Diana Shipping’s panamax bulk carriers for 10 to 14 months.

The Calipso (73,691 dwt, built 2005) was fixed at $6,000 per day, minus 5% commission for third parties. The charter starts tomorrow. Diana expects the contract to generate around $1.8m in revenue for the minimum period of the timecharter.
