China stocks higher at end of trade, Shanghai Composite gains 0.01%

BEIJING: China stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Shanghai, the Shanghai Composite gained 0.01%, while the SZSE Component index added 1.12%.

The best performers of the session on the Shanghai Composite were Jonjee Tech (SS:600872), which rose 10.03% or 1.800 points to trade at 19.750 at the close. Meanwhile, Changhong Elec (SS:600839) added 10.03% or 0.720 points to end at 7.900 and Ronghua Ind (SS:600311) was up 10.03% or 0.910 points to 9.980 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were China Ship (SS:600026), which fell 7.92% or 1.130 points to trade at 13.130 at the close. Merchants Ship (SS:601872) declined 6.23% or 0.690 points to end at 10.390 and Sh Duolun (SS:600696) was down 5.95% or 0.800 points to 12.640.

The top performers on the SZSE Component were ZTE Corp (SZ:000063) which rose 10.01% to 30.76, Leshi Internet Info Tech (SZ:300104) which was up 10.00% to settle at 134.20 and Shan Dong Dong-E E-Jiao Co Ltd (SZ:000423) which gained 6.11% to close at 53.80.

The worst performers were Iflytek Co Ltd (SZ:002230) which was down 3.76% to 47.93 in late trade, Changjiang Securities Co Ltd (SZ:000783) which lost 3.54% to settle at 18.25 and Weifu High-Technology Group Co Ltd (SZ:000581) which was down 2.81% to 37.32 at the close.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Shanghai Stock Exchange by 806 to 165.

Shares in Jonjee Tech (SS:600872) rose to all time highs; rising 10.03% or 1.800 to 19.750. Shares in Changhong Elec (SS:600839) rose to all time highs; rising 10.03% or 0.720 to 7.900. Shares in Ronghua Ind (SS:600311) rose to 52-week highs; rising 10.03% or 0.910 to 9.980. Shares in ZTE Corp (SZ:000063) rose to all time highs; gaining 10.01% or 2.80 to 30.76. Shares in Leshi Internet Info Tech (SZ:300104) rose to all time highs; up 10.00% or 12.20 to 134.20. Shares in Shan Dong Dong-E E-Jiao Co Ltd (SZ:000423) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 6.11% or 3.10 to 53.80.
