SHANGHAI: Chinese stocks were mixed in morning trade Monday as shareholders shied away from heavyweight financials and chased small firms, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.28 per cent, or 9.41 points, to 3,342.35.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, rose 0.73 per cent, or 11.06 points, to 1,525.36.
