LAHORE – An agreement for the construction of a theme park and aquarium with facilities matching that of the Disneyland has been signed between the Punjab government and a Chinese company.
According to a handout issued by the Chinese company – Golden Bean Group – the park would be built at a cost of Rs 36 billion in one-and-a-half years.
Lahore Commissioner Abdullah Sumbal along with Punjab Horticulture Authority Director General Mian Muhammad Shakeel and Golden Bean Group Chairman Jin Ming Nan signed the agreement in the provincial capital on Thursday.
