China Vice Minister Lu Peijun conducts bilateral talk with Hungary

BEIJING: Vice Minister Lu Peijun held a bilateral talk with Mr. árpád Varga,Vice President of National Taxation and Customs Administration of Hungary and Mr. Karoly Szabo, Director General for Customs and Finance Guard of Natioanl Taxation and Customs Administration of Hungary, in Budapest.

Vice Minister Lu spoke highly of the economic relations and Customs cooperation between the two countries and put forward five proposals on enhancing the Customs cooperation. Firstly, to keep track of and take part in the construction of the Belt and Road project. Secondly, to implement the consensus reached by the leaders at the Third Meeting between China and Middle and East Europe Leaders and further Customs cooperation in developing China-Europe Land-Sea Express Line to facilitate the trade. Thirdly, to implement the agreement on mutual assistance and cooperation between the two Customs administrations. Fourthly, to take a more active part in the cooperation between China Customs and Customs in Europe. Fifthly, to strengthen multilateral cooperation.
