BEIJING: The General Administration of Customs says that despite some challenges and obstacles, China’s foreign trade is expected to improve in the second half of this year.
“We estimate that our foreign trade in the second half of the year will be better than the first half. Exports will increase. And as for imports, the domestic economy is expected to improve. Even though the prices of international commodities have dropped notably in the latter half of last year, the decrease will not be as drastic, so the situation of imports will be better,” said Huang Songping, General Administration of Customs.
