China’s holdings of treasuries hit to $1.2705 tn in Aug

BEIJING: China increased its holding of U.S. Treasury securities in August, while Japan cut its share.

China’s holdings of the treasuries rose by 1.7 billion U.S. dollars to 1.2705 trillion U.S. dollars in August, the latest data from the Treasury Department showed Friday.
