SHANGHAI:  officers of Zhakou Customs House (affiliated to Gongbei Customs District) stopped an inward car with dual license plates at Gongbei Port and found 121 bottles of undeclared foreign-made wine and red wine which were hidden in a secret compartment at the bottom of the car.

That day around midnight, Customs officers stopped Lei, a Hongkong driver who had the record of multiple entries and exits in a short period of time and hiding wines in car. Customs officers found doubtful points about the car, using an easy underbody detector. The anomalous shadow on the image of the car bottom sent by a large-seized scanner also suggested the car might be used in smuggling. A large quantity of wine was at last found in the secret compartment at the bottom of the car.
