Chinese Customs seizes hundreds of iPhone 6 devices

BEIJING: Chinese Customs, in its ongoing anti-smuggling operation, has seized as many as 1,800 iPhone 6 devices from smugglers in just 5 days.

The Apple’s new iPhone model is yet to be officially released in China and this period has become a golden opportunity for smugglers. As per details, Hong Kong police have seized 138 iPhones from a boat which was merely the tip of the iceberg as some experts say that more than five million new iPhones will likely be smuggled into China before the official release date.
