BEIJING: Jiuzhou Customs House (affiliated to Gongbei Customs District) detained a batch of infringing model cars. By investigation, these models infringed trademarks of “Ferrari”, “FORD and its mark”, “HONDA”, “JAGUAR and its mark”.
Recently, a company from Zhongshan declared ordinary trade of 8,796 sets of model cars, valued at USD29, 600 intotal. But the Customs House found out that 662 sets therein with the logos of “Ferrari”, “FORD and its mark”, “HONDA”, “JAGUAR and its mark” were suspected of infringing on involved trademark rights. Through identification by trademark holders, the 662 sets of model cars were infringing products, which have been detained by the Customs for further investigation.
