ISLAMABAD: The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will create tens of thousands of jobs in Pakistan, said Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong.
In an interview with Chinese News Agency, Xinhua on Sunday, he said the project goes well on the whole and the completed part is bringing tangible benefits to local people.
The Ambassador said the CPEC projects under construction have employed more than 6,000 Pakistani workers by the end of March He said a number of projects have been launched focusing on energy and transport infrastructure to meet Pakistan’s immediate needs.
