Ahead of the UK parting ways with the EU, Chubb European Group has redomiciled its businesses from the British capital and now calls France its new home.

Starting this year, the registered address for both Chubb European Group SE and ACE Europe Life SE is La Tour Carpe Diem, 31 Place des Corolles, Esplanade Nord, 92400 Courbevoie, France. The two now operate under the supervision of the French regulator Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution.

Meanwhile, until further notice, the entities will conduct business in the UK as a passported European Economic Area branch. They are subject to regulation by the country’s Financial Conduct Authority.

“Chubb has focused on delivering clarity, continuity of service, and certainty for our customers, brokers, and other partners, regardless of the final outcome of Brexit,” said regional president David Furby. “We’re pleased that the redomicile of Chubb European Group’s businesses to France has been completed as planned.”

The move from London was approved by regulators in July 2018.
