KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) has directed officials of the customs department to file para wise comments on a constitutional petition filed by Rizwan Ahmed, seeking release of an oil tanker along with 10,000 liters high speed diesel. The tanker and oil was seized by the customs department. A two-member bench, headed by Justice Munib Akhtar was hearing the petition.

During the hearing, counsel for the petitioner stated that he is lawful owner of 10, 000 liter diesel, loaded on the oil tanker bearing registration no: C-2211. A team of the Anti-Smuggling Organisation intercepted the oil tanker and the driver Murad Baksh had produced all legal documents, but the officials seized the oil tanker along with 10,000 liter diesel.
