AS PART of the Citroen DS3 DSport launch, motoring writer and mother of two Vani Naidoo was given a turn around the Kingston Park Raceway track by Australian rally driver Tony Sullens.

“Well, it was more like a rollicking ride than a turn really,” Vani said.

“You sit so low in a rally car, it is difficult to see out, a blessing really. I think the hardest thing is that unlike the driver you have nothing to hold on to and for the most part you feel like your tummy is lodged in your mouth.

“For those of you have yet to experience this adrenaline rush, think the world’s biggest rollercoaster – but a 100 times worse. Don’t let the screaming fool you though, it was fun, really fun. And note the great green hair cap, what a fashion statement.”
