KUALA LUMPUR: Naza Euro Motors Sdn Bhd expects the newly launched petrol-variant MPV Citroen Grand C4 Picasso to be one of its main volume driver this year.
In a statement, Naza said the latest Malaysia Automotive Association (MAA) report showed that MPVs were the second biggest sub-segment of the market in 2014 with a share of 16%.
The MPV is the first previewed in Malaysia last June while in October, the diesel variant won the NST-Maybank Car of the Year Award 2014 in the MPV category.
Chief Operating Officer Datuk Samson Anand George said the company recorded a strong performance in 2014.
“We will continue to ride on this wave of momentum by taking a step forward with the award-winning Citroen Grand C4 picasso,” he said.
