FLORIDA: Harvill said the cleanup of illegal dump is estimated to cost $52,760.30 in labor. It is 100 percent reimbursable from the grant. It is a great opportunity for us.The Chambers County Commission agreed to pay for the cleanup of an illegal dump on County Road 155 in Welch, with the Alabama Department of Environmental Management reimbursing the cost.

It is very large and has been there for many years, said County Engineer Josh Harvill. Once ADEM was notified of it, they reached out to us and asked if we would be willing to give an estimate of the cost for the county to do the remediation.
