Closing: KSE 100-index gains 93pts, up 0.28% to end in green zone

KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index gained 92.95 points or 0.28 percent to reach 33469.15 points and volume of 100,169,430 shares on Thursday.

Till midday, the benchmark KSE-100 index Thursday lost the early gains by shedding 16.53 points to reach 33359.67 level.

On Wednesday, the KSE-100 shares index gained 173.33 points or 0.52 percent to close at 33,376.20 points. KSE-30 shares gained 125.01 points or 0.63 percent to close at 20,048.41 points. As many as 366 scripts were active of which 140 advanced, 204 declined and 22 remained unchanged.

High and low were 33493.22 and 33257.41 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 100,169,430 shares.
