Closing: KSE 100-index loses another 116pts, down 0.35% to close in red zone

KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index lost 115.93 points or 0.35 percent to reach 33460.01 points and volume of 158,797,280 shares on Wednesday.

In midday trading, the benchmark 100-index once again lost its early gains as the 100-index suffered 133.64 points loss and down by 0.40 per cent to 33442.30 level.

Earlier, the KSE started with positive note, recouping the overnight losses as 100-index up by 30 per cent and gained 102.26 point to reach 33678.20 mark.

On Tuesday, the benchmark 100-index lost 268.36 points or 0.79 percent to reach 33575.94 points, with the volume of 205,280,470 shares.

The High and Low of today trading were 33681.05 and 33435.21 respectively with the total volume traded in the market of 158,797,280.
