LAHORE: CloudClinik EMR, a Lahore based IT company has announced a new agreement with Ooredoo to develop Qatar’s first cloud-based electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management system. As part of the new agreement, Ooredoo and CloudClinik will provide the private healthcare sector in Qatar with a new service to manage its patients’ clinical information in an efficient way. Hosted in one of Ooredoo’s high-tech Qatar Data Centres, the new service will use a dedicated connection, enabling the most secure service for a patient’s private information, according to a statement.
CloudClinik is a cloud-based EMR and practice management solution for doctors, clinics and healthcare facilities. Yousuf Abdulla al-Kubaissi, CEO of Ooredoo Global Services, said “A service such as this will literally save lives across Qatar and help our country become a leader in smart healthcare facilities.
