CM assures business community of maximum facilitation

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah here on Monday, on behalf of his government, assured the business community of all possible cooperation and facilitation for promoting trade and industry.

During his interactive session with members of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry at the Federation House, the CM underlined the need for more interaction between his government and FPCCI so that the issues of trade and industry belonging to Sindh government can be solved at the earliest possible.

Sindh Minister for Industries, Muhammad Ali Malkani and the Provincial Secretary Industries also accompanied the Chief Minister. FPCCI’s Acting President Abdul Rahim Janoo, FPCCI Vice Presidents Muhammad Waseem Vohra, Muhammad Ikram Rajput and other senior leaders of FPCCI were also present.

He said maintaining and improving law and order in the province especially in Karachi is the number one priority of his government. As the results of the efforts made by Sindh and

Federal governments the law and order situation has improved and assured that there would be further improvement to the satisfaction of the business community and the people in general.

“Normal life has returned to the city. Eid shopping is at its peak,” he added.

On pointation by FPCCI Acting President Abdul Rahim Janoo, the Chief Minister issued directives for ensuring regular and sufficient quantity of water supply to the Federation House.

He also assured that he would take up with Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) the issue of issuance of NOC needed to construct a new building for FPCCI Secretariat adjacent to the present one here.”

Syed Qaim Ali Shah expressed his satisfaction over the announcement of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif that Thar coal will be used in all coal-fired power plants in the country.

Acting President FPCCI Abdul Rahim Janoo in his welcome address briefed the Chief Minister about the problems facing trade and industry; falling under Sindh Government’s jurisdiction.
