CM Balochistan assures investors of security

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch said that Balochistan is suitable place for investment in different sectors, adding that his government was ready to provide foolproof security to investors.

He was addressing at Balochistan Investment Conference which was attended by over 26 local and foreign investors groups, banks and companies, here on Friday. The conference was jointly organized by JS Group and Planning and Development Department, Government of Balochistan.

The Chief Minister said there was great potential in Balochistan for local and foreign investment in different sectors. “Investors can get benefits from their investment in Balochistan which provides suitable and friendly investment to them,” he said.

He said that law and order has improved in Balochistan with the efforts of the government and added that investors would be provided foolproof security. He said that investment would also help Balochistan in resolving poverty and backwardness issues.

He said that Balochistan is rich in natural resources which need investment.        Commander Southern Command, Lt. Gen. Nasser Khan Janjua said that he welcomed investors in Quetta. “Balochistan is future of Pakistan and we want to brighten our future,” he said. He urged investors to play their role in economy of Balochistan by investing in different sectors here.

Provincial Minister for Planning and Development, Dr. Hamid Achakzai, Provincial Advisors to Chief Minister including Sardar Raza Muhammad Baraich and Dr. Qaisar Bengali and senior officials were present.
