LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif chaired a high level meeting on the recommendations regarding the budget formation policy.

Provincial Minister Malik Nadeem Kamran, Ayesha Ghaus Pasha, MNA Hamza Shehbaz, Chief Secretary and Chairman participated in the meeting and presented their suggestions regarding the budget preparation. Law Minister Rana Sanaullah also participated in the session through video link.

Shehbaz Shrief declared that the budget for the next fiscal year should be public friendly and must facilitate farmers and industrialists. CM declined any addition of any new tax in the budget and stressed to focus on human welfare projects. He said policies should be formulated to provide complete resources in the rural areas and work for their advancement.

He advised all the ministers and secretaries to fully concentrate on the budget and work to provide more and more relief to the public.

Customs Today learnt that upcoming budget will be a last budget for the current government and coming year is the election year so government is focusing on the welfare schemes to attract the public.
