CM inaugurates newly developed KP Govt’s website on CPEC

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pervez Khattak inaugurated the newly developed website of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Pak-China Economic Corridor (CPEC) in a ceremony at Chief Minister Secretariat here Thursday.

It has been jointly launched by the Planning & Development and Information Technology Departments. On this occasion, Secretary P&D Shahab Ali Shah briefed the Chief Minister about the Website. He said 100 projects of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government were shown in the web being presented during the three-day Beijing Road Show starting from 16th of this month.

It carried details and information about investment opportunities and potentials in education, health, tourism, culture, trade, industry, energy, mines and minerals, environment, food, agriculture, housing, transport, Information technology, banking and other sectors that would also be regularly updated with every new development in the concerned sectors.

The website also covered information on policies, incentives and facilities of KP government in various sectors besides the blue prints and data on the existing and new industrial zones, technology cities, oil refinery, construction of 14-storey CPEC tower at old bus terminal Peshawar on 12.7 kanals of land, cargo terminal and other relevant details. It also displays comments and proposals of the investors and general viewers and feed backs.

Chief Minister, Pervez Khattak lauded overall performance of both the departments and directed for adding some features and information in the website. He expressed confidence that the team of experts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa visiting China would leave no stone unturned to expand the scope of investment in the province as well as to create maximum attraction for  foreign investment. He further directed for streamlining for the website for world-over viewers.
