CM pays surprise visit to Pakistan Metro Bus Service

ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif has paid a surprise visit to the newly-inaugurated Pakistan Metro Bus Service to inspect the facilities being provided to the commuters.

Shahbaz Sharif travelled on the service from Rawalpindi Saddar to Faizabad as a common commuter without any protocol and announced to change the nomenclature of Metro Bus Service to Pakistan Metro Bus Service in a media briefing. Senator Pervaiz Rashid and Chairman Metro Project Hanif Abbasi also accompanied the chief minister.

He assured not to compromise on the transportation and quality of metro bus and pledged to work for the nation’s relief. To a question, he said that no government would afford to withdraw subsidy being given by the PML-N government on Metro Bus Service owing to its utility.

The Chief Minister appreciated the work of private company for doing state-of-the-art facility and said that he would recommend to Prime Minister Sharif to award the company with merit and commendation certificate so that other companies would follow the suit to achieve excellence in their job.
