KARACHI: Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) officials have seized a huge quantity of narcotics worth Rs 450 million from Gwadar.
According to an official statement issued here Tuesday, the PCG officials received a tipoff about smuggling of narcotics in Gwadar. A special mobile team was deployed on Shahjahan road, Gwadar.
The team intercepted an oil tanker and recovered 278kg hashish and 380kg opium from the hidden cavities of the tanker. The officials confiscated drugs and tanker and arrested the driver.
