Collection of duties/taxes: Banks to remain open on 29th, 31st

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced that authorised branches of State Bank of Pakistan, National Bank of Pakistan and National Institute of Facilitation Technologies (NIFT) will remain open on Saturday (March 29) and Monday (March 31) for collection of duties/ taxes.

According to the FBR’s instructions to all Chief Commissioners of Large Taxpayer Units (LTUs) and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs), all field offices will remain open and observe working hours, i.e 09:00 am to 05:00 pm on Saturday (March 29) and on Monday (March 31), the office will remain open till 10:00pm for collection of duties/ taxes.
