Collector Adjudication Asif Abbas hears 7 cases of smuggling

FAISALABAD: Collector Customs Adjudication Asif Abbas Khan heard 7 cases against suspects involved in smuggling of mobiles phones, Hino truck and tax evasion by M/s Bilal fabrics and M/s Aamil Export Faisalabad.

Muhammad Nasrullah is the owner of non-duty paid Hino truck bearing registration no: GLTD-549. Furqan Butt is allegedly involved in duties and taxes evasion on foreign origin mobiles with Toyota car.

Meanwhile, Collector Asif Abbas Khan also heard a case against Qaiser Abbas who is involved in evading tax by importing non-duty paid Isuzu truck bearing registration no: AEO-727SR. He also heard a case filed against an unclaimed person involved in a smuggling of a used vehicle.

Moreover, the collector heard a case filed against M/s Aamil Export Faisalabad involved in tax evasion. Two cases heard against M/s Bilal Fabrics who brought different brand cloth into the country without payment of duty taxes. All these cases were forwarded by the Customs Intelligence and Investigation and DTRE branch Faisalabad.
