Collector Adjudication Mubashir hears four cases of smuggling involving Rs55m

FAISALABAD: Collector of Customs Adjudication Mirza Mubashir Baig has heard four smuggling cases involving revenue of Rs55million.

The collector heard the smuggling cases of foreign origin Hino truck, 10-Wheeler with registration No: GZRA-561, used mobiles phones, Nissan truck with registration No: 664 (Sibbi) and kerosene and adulterated oil.

Faisalabad Customs Intelligence and Investigation Regional Office submitted three cases of confiscated kerosene oil, Hino truck and Nissan truck worth Rs51million smuggled into the country without payment of government dues. One more case of smuggling was filed by Air Freight Unit (AFU) Faisalabad which intercepted imported used mobiles phones without packing and standard accessories.

Collector Mirza Mubashir Baig has adjourned the cases till the next hearing.
