FAISALABAD: Collector of Customs Adjudication Raja Tahir Majeed has served a show cause notices on Shahid Qazi, General Manager of M/s Sandal Dystuff Industries.
As per details, the customs authorities intercepted a vehicle near Kammander Soap Factory and recovered used SDMO diesel generator 1000- KVA power . In the show cause, the collector said the generator was being transported illegally which is violation of section 16, 18 of the Customs Act 1969.
The collector in his notice said that why the generator should not be confiscated under pre-mentioned provisions of law. However, the adjudication has directed the accused parties to file their replies by given time.
