Collector Adjudication Rashid Habib orders to confisticate Toyota Coaster

ISLAMABAD: Additional Collector Collectorate of Adjudication Rashid Habib Khan has directed to seize a non-duty paid Toyota Coaster bearing registration No BRA-179. He also issued Order-in-Original (OnO) No. 44 in this connection.

Sources said that the deputy collector received information that a vehicle bearing Zhob number plate is plying on roads of Islamabad. He constituted a customs team under the supervision of Superintendent Customs Zargham Dil. The team intercepted the vehicle on Rewat Road. The vehicle was being driven by one Asif Ali son of Manzoor Hussain who is a resident of Sheikhupura. The Customs team asked him to produce legal documents regarding the legal possession of the vehicle but he failed. The Customs team seized the vehicle and forwarded his chassis number and engine for forensic laboratory. During the testing process, it was revealed that the chassis is tempered. The Customs team seize the vehicle and forwarded the case to the customs adjudication.
