Collector Adjudication Zafar Akhtar summons accused involved in smuggling of Land Cruiser

LAHORE: Collectorate of Customs Adjudication Zafar Akhtar has summoned a suspect in detention of a smuggled Toyota Land Cruiser V-8.

According to sources, the Land Cruiser V-8 was detained by Customs Intelligence and Investigation from Sheraz Mazhar son of Mufti Mazhar Hussain near Fortress Stadium, the Mall, Lahore.  The customs authorities demanded legal documents from the driver but he failed to produce any document in this regard. He told the customs team that the vehicle belonged to his friend Aizaz, who is a proprietor of a showroom M/s Car Studio, Samanabad.
