Collector Ahmad Reza instructs subordinates to achieve revenue target

SIALKOT: Model Customs Collectorate Collector Ahmad Reza Khan has instructed all officials to achieve target assigned by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), besides taking action against tax defaulters according to the customs laws.

He also directed the staff of appraising, Anti-Smuggling Orgainsation (ASO) and clearing process to expedite the efforts in order to collect handsome revenue for the national exchequer during the current fiscal year.

Talking to Customs Today, he said that the officials who are working at Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT) and Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) were performing their duties efficiently and their collection process of the government dues was much better.

The collection of the duty/taxes played an important role in strengthening the national economy; he said and urged the officials to perform their assigned duties honestly in order to stop the revenue leakage.
