Collector Ahmad Reza pays surprise visit to Sialkot Dry Port

SIALKOT: Collector Customs Sialkot Ahmad Reza paid a surprise visit to Sialkot Dry Port Trust at Sambrial.

Sources informed Customs Today that that during his visit to Sialkot Dry Port, the collector reviewed the process of customs clearing of exporters’ consignments. He also checked the clearing process of import items. He examined documents of various consignments and instructed the staff of the Customs Department to work carefully and honestly, while performing their duties.

He also met with some customs clearing agents and staff of SDPT and asked customs clearing agents about their problems during clearing process of consignment. Collector Reza advise them that if they face any problem in clearing process of their consignments they should bring the same in his notice.
