Collector Amjadur Rehman assures North Waziristan traders of resolving all issues

PESHAWAR: Newly posted Collector Amjad-ur-Rehman held a meeting with business community of North Waziristan and allow them for import of different vegetables and fruits from Afghanistan.

According to details a delegation of North Waziristan led by President Chamber of Commerce and Industry Haji Qadeerullah Wazir called on Collector Customs Peshawar Amjad-ur-Rehman, the Additional Collector Shahid Jan and Assistant Collector Saifullah were also present in the meeting.

The delegation was led by Haji Qadeerullah Wazir including Haji Abdullah Khan, President Vegetable Fruits North Waziristan, and Senior Customs Clearing Agent at Ghulam Khan Border Sahib Rehman.

During the meeting, issues being faced by North Waziristan traders and other issues were discussed while a detailed discussion was held regarding the declaration of import of vegetables and fruits from Afghanistan in one item by the customs.

The Chamber delegation also demanded the Collector Customs to resolve the issue of road passage of vehicles coming from Afghanistan.

The Collector Customs Appraisement Peshawar assured the delegation of North Waziristan to solve problems of the business community as soon as possible on propriety basis.
