The Collector MCC Appraisement-East asked the officials of R&D Section to constitute any case of tax evasion, mis-declaration and under-invoicing keeping the merit and laws in front. The Collector asked R&D officials to keep a vigilant eye on tax evasion cases and make every case with strong references and thorough study, so that the unscrupulous elements do not escape from the legal proceedings.

“The R&D Section is supposed to be the back-bone of the Collectorate, as its main objective is to eliminate tax evasion through investigating dubious cases in order to increase revenue collection of the Collectorate”, he added.

During the meeting, Manzoor Hussain Memon assured his full cooperation and support to the officials and officers of R&D Section. Collector also asked the R&D officials to make attempts in order to execute their sanctioned reward plan which was halted for more than a year.

The officials of R&D Section assured their full support to the collector and vowed that tireless efforts would be made in order to detect tax evasion cases. The meeting lasted for one hour.

During the meeting, it was decided that meetings at regular interval would be convened in order to evaluate the performance of the officials.
