Collector Appraisement Sadiq greets newly promoted principal appraisers

LAHORE: Collector of Customs Appraisement Muhammad Sadiq has congratulated the newly promoted appraisers who are promoted as principal appraiser, sources told Customs Today here the other day.

The collector said the newly promoted officials are promoted on the basis of their hard working, untiring and relentless efforts in discharging their duties.

He was quoted as saying that the achievement on the part of the newly made principal appraiser is a testimony that the department has acknowledged their contribution to the development and growth by way of facilitating the importers and exporters exemplary manners.

He hopped that the newly promoted principal appraiser would do their best to facilitate the businessmen in their legitimate deeds and work for the further growth and development of the customs department.

He was also quoted as saying that the other officials should also follow the newly made principal appraisers to make their name in the department and the department adversely will reward them in best possible ways.

On the occasion other staff members including customs union senior vice president Muhammad Sadique Awan, VP Azhar Hayat, general secretary Muhammad Younas Qadri also greeted the newly uplifted principle appraisers

Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Customs Department has recently promoted appraisers Ch. Moazzam Ali Virk, MCC Appraisement Lahore Amjad Akhtar, MCC Appraisement, Lahore, Talib Hussain Rana, MCC, Appraisement, Lahore and Amir Haider Customs Appraisement, Lahore to the posts of Principal Appraisers with immediate effect.

They will be on probation for a period of one year, extendable for further period not exceeding a year, provided no order is issued by the day following the termination of probationary period. The appointment shall deem to be held until further orders.

The officers, already drawing Performance Allowance equal to 100 % basic pay, will continue to draw the same on their promotions.

They are allowed to actualize their promotions at their present places of posting against the available vacancies in BS-16.

The officers are requested to relinquish/assume charge, using online HRME facility made available at all the FBR field offices or by using the IJP login.

The Federal Board of Revenue headquarters congratulates the abovementioned officers on their promotions.
