Collector Arslan orders to form special recovery teams

ISLAMABAD: In order to recover revenue from the tax defaulters, Model Customs Collectorate Collector Dr Arslan Subuctageen ordered to form special teams.

Assistant Collector Amanat Ali Khan said that with reference of Section 18 of the Customs Act, 1969, special teams will be formed which will be responsible to recover stuck up revenue, adding that stern actions will be taken against the defaulters.

Under the supervision of Collector Arslan, staff deputed at the dry port was working very well and with effective efforts of staff, the collectorate will be able to meet the revenue targets set for current financial year 2015-16, he added.

The assistant collector further said that recovery teams of Islamabad Dry Port recovered Rs 3.7 million till May, 2016.
