Collector Arslan reshuffles Tahir Iqbal, Shahid Jan and Khansa Mehmood

ISLAMABAD: Internal reshuffling of two deputy collectors and one assistant collector has been made here at the Model Customs Collectorate, Islamabad, with immediate effect and until further orders.

As per details, Assistant Collector Tahir Iqbal Khattak has been assigned charges of tribunal, auction, warehouse and Investigation and Prosecution (I&P). Earlier, Tahir has been serving at Customs Preventive for seven months. He was appointed after transfer of Preventive Assistant Collector Yawar Hayat.

Now, Deputy Collector Shahid Jan has been given the responsibilities at Preventive. Shahid Jan was on mid-service training course from last six months. Earlier, Deputy Collector Shahid Jan has been performing duty at Air Freight Unit (AFU).

Meanwhile, Deputy Collector Khansa Mehmood has been shifted from headquarters office, Legal division and FTO to AFU-Export, rebate and WeBOC registration.

All the reshuffling has been made after the approval of Islamabad Customs Collector Arslan Subuctageen.

Assistant Collector Tahir told Customs Today that in his tenure of seven month at Customs Preventive, the collectorate made many successful seizures by curbing smuggling and confiscated goods worth Rs 180 million.
