Collector East Saeed Akram to address important meeting at FPCCI on April 13

KARACHI: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Standing Committee on Customs will hold its second meeting on April 13 to discuss and exchange of data between Customs authorities of Pakistan and China.

Collector Custom Collectorate Appraisement East Saeed Akram will also also deliver a comprehensive address to the gathering.

The meeting will encompass proposals for the release of goods lying at Pakistan International Container terminal (PICT) and South Asia Pakistan Terminals (SAPT) due to procedural laps and delays in clearance by any reason.

The officials will also discuss regarding the online auction of goods and will communicate over the procedural CRF for Web Based One Customs (WeBOC) during the meeting.

Assessment and release of true goods declaration without delays and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for examination of goods between Customs / Terminals & Service Sectors to avoid delays in examination will also be the key note on which deeply discussion will also take place in the meeting being held at the FPCCI Head Office.

Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) Standing Committee members and officers from Pakistan Customs along with other government officials as well as well-known businessmen will also grace the event.
