Collector Exports briefs Chief Collector Nazim Saleem over Export Module

KARACHI: Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Exports Collector Javed Ghani briefed the Chief Collector-Enforcement (South) Muhammad Nazim Saleem over the progress in order to formulate the Export Module to eliminate the use of fake Form-E during trade.

The Director Reforms and Automation Abdul Majid Yousufani was also present on the occasion.

The Collector Javed Ghani while briefing about the Export Module said that the Collectorate has almost finalized its working regarding the recommendations and suggestions in connection with the formation of Export Module on WeBOC, automated system.

The Collector MCC-Exports further said that the recommendations and suggestions in this regard have also been sent to the Directorate of Reforms & Automation for further procedure.

During the meeting, the Director Reforms and Automation Abdul Majid Yousufani informed Chief Collector-Enforcement (South) that the directorate will complete the module in near future.

He further informed the Chief Collector-Enforcement (South) that the pilot project on Export Module would be executed as test run in the next month while the full-fledged module pertaining to Export would be implemented in the month of June, this year.

The Chief Collector-Enforcement (South) Muhammad Nazim Saleem expressed his satisfaction over the current development on formulating the Export Module and urged the authorities concerned to keep on their efforts in the same manner in order to execute the module in near future.
