Collector Faiz Ahmad distributes workload among assistant, deputy collectors

LAHORE: Collectorate of Customs Preventive Collector Faiz Ahmad has issued a notification no: Admn/AFU/Officer/2017/1519 on Friday.

According to the notification, Deputy Collector Hafiz Naveedur Rehman Deputy Collector of Air Freight Unit (AFU) will also look after administration, cash, FTO, Adjudication, Audit External, Audit/DRRA, baggage, refund and rebate in addition to the duties already assigned to him.

Assistant Collector Umar Latif has been directed to also supervise import examination, export (assessment and examination, TP/ICG, recovery , including recovery of betel leaves cases.

While Assistant Collector Fahad Bashir will also perform his duties at Group-I, II, III, MIS Law, R&D/PRV, bank guarantee, temporary, import, audit & DR (appellate tribunal).

The notification further stated that due to 15 days leaves of Deputy Collector Saima Zaib Butt and  Assistant Collector Syed Ittrat Hussain, who is proceeding on ex-Pakistan leave for 90 days, these postings are made on temporary basis.
