It is pertinent to mention here that the MCC Multan is the respondent into the case, which made a contravention report against the Q-Mobile in which it stated that the said cellular company was allegedly involved in evading duty/taxes amounting to Rs 772 million in terms of shortfall in Custom Duty and Additional Sales Tax.

The petitioners Q-Mobile and its authorized dealers  New Allied Electronics and Digicom were of the view that the MCC-Multan was violated its jurisdiction, as the consignments were cleared from Air Fright Unit-AFU-JIAP.
