KARACHI: The Collector-MCC Appraisement (East) Manzoor Hussain Memon in his fresh move has tighten the security and vigilance in the premises of the Collectorate and has taken measures to bar with the unauthorized persons from entering into the Collectorate through a public notice.
According to details, the authorities concerned have deployed a facilitating officer and a sepoy on the main entrance of the Collectorate along with a proper counter desk, who asked every visitor to disclose his identity while entering into the Collectorate.
It was also witnessed that the facilitating officer was also note down the name of every visitor along with his Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC), who entered into the premises of the Collectorate and note down the name of every visitor into the register laying down at the facilitation desk of the Collectorate.
It is pertinent to mention here that a public notice was also dispatched at the main notice board of the Collectorate, stated that the entrance of unauthorized persons is prohibited into the Collectorate, adding that the visitors must prove their identity while displaying their identity cards at the time of the entrance into the Collectorate, otherwise legal action would be taken against those, who are failed to prove their identity as per the rules, prescribed by the authorities concerned of the Collectorate.
It may also be mentioned here that the authorities concerned of the Collectorate have also increase the numbers of the surveillance cameras, installed into the premises of the Collectorate for enhancing the security into the premises of the Collectorate.
Commenting on the recent steps taken by the authorities concerned, the reliable sources of the Collectorate informed Customs Today that the newly appointed Collector-MCC Appraisement (East) being a good administrator has taken those steps in order to improve the working scenario of the Collectorate and also restrict the unauthorized persons in order to enter into the Collectorate.
He further said that the security of the Collectorate is being improved by the steps taken by the Collector-MCC Appraisement (East).
