Collector Mukkaram Jah given task to increase liaison among various govt agencies at border posts

LAHORE: Customs Lahore Preventive has been given a special task to increase liaison among the various law enforcement agencies working at all borders of Pakistan.

Sources said that Collector of Customs Lahore Preventive, Mukarram Jah Ansari, has been announced as focal person to increase liaison among the agencies including Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), National Logistic Cell (NLC), Rangers and immigration.

They added that issues relating to borders’ area including Torkhuam, Sost, Taftan and Wagah Border will be the focus of the special task.

They added that issue relating to border and protection of border will come under discussion between the border agencies.

They said that proposal to implement the ideas extended by all the agencies working on the borders of the country will also be prepared.
