Collector Muneeza Majeed directs all employees to attend duties regularly

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement & Compliance (E & C) Collector Muneeza Majeed has directed all officers and employees to attend official duties regularly without any authorization.

Collector Muneeza Majeed has directed all officials and employees to attend their office regularly for accomplishment of routine tasks. The Federal Board of Revenue has observed that some officers/officials of field formations of Customs Department are not attending their official duties regularly without any authorization and their absence from duty is adversely affecting the daily working of Customs.

It was also learnt that some of officers along with other officials are absent from their duties due to Pandemic Corona Virus (COVID-19) without informing officially and their absence creating severe issues for Customs Department.

In view of the above all Collector Customs Multan Muneeza Majeed directed all officials and employees to ensure strict observance of official duties of field formations under their respective administrative control for smooth functioning of official work.

Source told Customs today that Customs Collectorate Enforcement & Compliance (E&C) has also directed all employees to join office and perform their assigned tasks and responsibilities immediately. Customs Collectorate will take strict disciplinary action against those employees who will remain absent from their duty without approval from competent authority.
