Port Qasim Collector Ch Javed lauds services rendered by SPO Irfan Asghar

KARACHI: Port Qasim Collector Chaudhary Javed and other officers hosted a farewell party in honor of retired Senior Preventive Officer (SPO) Irfan Asghar.

The ceremony was held at Port Muhammad Bin Qasim (PMBQ) on Sunday. Senior Preventive Officer Irfan Asghar had joined customs department 30 years ago. During his tenure he performed different duties in different customs departments and always showed outstanding performance. He was among best employees of the customs department.

Addressing the participants, Collector Chaudhary Javed, Additional Deputy Collector Khalil Usmani, and other officials lauded the services rendered by Irfan Asghar during his tenure at Port Mohammad Bin Qasim.

Collector Ch Javed said that all his friends were going to retire one by one and Irfan Asghar is one of them. He said that he has long association with Irfan, adding that he found him a professional official and people like Irfan Asghar were sources of strength for the any department.

It is necessary to mention here that Senior Preventive Officer Irfan Asghar has taken retirement from customs in the age of 60 years.
